Product Features :

R-100, the organic polymeric dispersant is used as Grinding Aid and powerful Deflocculating Agent in ceramic processing.

R-100 is used to increase solid slip and reduce viscosity in clay and other dispersions. It is used as grinding aid, dispersing and deflocculating aid for Clays, Minerals, Ceramics and Electro ceramics, Ferrites, Refractories.

Application Benefits :

R-100 is used to overcome trouble some rheological problems from crowding factors influenced by particle size, shape and interparticulate attraction, which give, rise to interparticle friction and formation of agglomerates. Its use helps increase shear rates, smoothens processing, saves on time and energy consumption.

Specifications :

The basic product R-100 is available in various grades. Generally, it depends upon the inputs like type of industry, minerals/clays used, water analysis to decide the grade for most favorable & cost effective results. The product has following specifications.

Chemical nature	acrylic polymer, anionic nature
Appearance	clear, colorless to straw color, free flowing liquid.
pH	2 to 8.5
Solid contents	40 to 48%
Solubility	infinite solubility in water.

Dosages :

The most common dosages are between 0.15 to 0.4% of R-100 (as supplied) on dry material.

Packing :

R-100 is supplied in 50/200 kgs. Polydrums.

Saftey And Handling :

R-100 is generally safe but avoid contact with eyes & prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes flush with water and get prompt medical attention. Gloves and goggles should be used while handling the product.

Storage :

R-100 is non-flammable and non-combustible. It should be stored underside the product should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

It is recommended to use diluted solution for dosing small quantities in the laboratory trials.

Testing Procedure :

Products are supplied as 45% active contents. Weight 100 Gms. Product & dilute to 450 Gms. With distled / demineralised water with mixing thoroughly.

This is 10% solution of the product. 1.0 Gms. Of this solution contains 0.1 Gms. Products. Correspondingly deduct/adjust above quantity of water from water required for preparation of the slip.
